We provide opportunities for children and young people in Islington to get out and about, have fun, meet others and do new things. We support members to choose the programme.
Children and Young Peoples Services





We provide opportunities for children and young people in Islington to get out and about, have fun, meet others and do new things. The groups are separated by age not by ability and are open to anyone living with a learning disability.
Juniors Club
- For children aged 8 - 12 with a learning disability.
- Meets on a Tuesday night from 4 - 6.30pm
Siblings Club
- For men aged 18 - 12 who have a brother or sister with a learning disability.
- Meets on a Monday nights from 5 - 7pm
Adolescent Club
- For children aged 12 -16 with a learning disability.
- Meets on a Tuesday night from 4 - 6.30pm.
Holiday Play Schemes
- For children from the juniors, Adolescent, Siblings Clubs and waiting lists.
- Runs during the school Summer and Easter holidays, depending on funding.
The children do a wide range of activities which are chosen by their group. Some activities take place within the Centre such as cooking, dance, playing sport and group games, gardening barbeques, watching DVD'S, music and art projects. The outside activities in the community include ice skating, bowling, picnics in the park, swimming, self defense classes and eating out etc.
