Learning and Leisure
Our groups provide hands on practical opportunities to learn new skills, have fun outings supported by trained staff and a chance to make new friends and get out of the house!
Adult Services
Our group provide a weekly opportunity for people with a learning disability to meet new friends, learn new skills and go on outings in a safe environment, supported by qualified staff. It is a varied programme with the members choosing their activities for the term. Some of the groups are drop-ins and any one is welcome once they have filled in the correct forms. Other clubs are determined by age.
Young Adults Group
- For people aged 16 - 25 with a learning disability.
- Meets on a Thursday night from 7 - 9.30pm.
Happy Tuesdays
- For people aged 17 - 25 with a high support needs and require one to one support.
- Meets on a Tuesday night from 7 - 9.30pm.
Friday Social Club
- A drop in session for people aged 18 and over with learning disabilities.
- Meets on a Friday night from 7 - 9.30pm.
Men's Group
- For men aged 18 and over with learning disabilities.
- Meets on a Wednesday night from 7 - 9.30pm.
Saturday Social Club
- A drop in session for people with a learning disabilities over the age of 25.
- Meets on a Saturday afternoon from 12 - 4pm.
- A meal is provided.
Saturday Sports Club
- The sports club is open to anyone over the age of 16 who has a learning disability.
- It is a drop-in session.
- Meets on Saturday afternoon from 12 - 2pm.
The Adult service is headed by Karla Gunby.
