Centre 404 was originally founded by volunteer family carers in 1951 and has a long history of community involvement. We can provide a variety of opportunities for you to gain skills, meet new people, and share your knowledge and life experiences and contribute to our local community. We can be flexible about the time you want to give and in return we can offer reasonable travel expenses, training and support.
Current volunteer opportunities include:
Buddy/Befriender for our tenants and outreach users
Clubs Assistant for our Saturday Aiming High Club
Bus drivers/ escorts for our clubs
Garden volunteers for our community mobile garden project
Admin volunteers to help out our family team with scanning and filing

Become a Committee Member
Centre 404 is governed by an Executive Committee that is made up of volunteer trustees who oversee the direction of our charitable activities. We also have a number of sub-committees made up of staff, service users and volunteers to oversee the management of our service provision.
We are always interested to hear from people who have relevant skills and experience and can offer some of their time to get involved. Email volunteer@centre404.org.uk for more information.
Support our "Build Our Future" fundraising campaign
We need your support to raise funds for a much needed refurbishment that will transform our centre making it more accessible and fit for use into the 21st century and beyond. This work will secure the future of our Centre at 404 Camden Road and enable us to continue providing essential services and support to over 2000 people with a learning disability and their families in Islington and the surrounding areas.
To find out about the many ways that you can support our campaign, from holding a community fundraising event to running the London Bupa 10K please click here. Your efforts and donations will be much appreciated by the many people who rely on our support and services to access the same rights, freedoms, choices and quality of life as people within the wider community.
