Work with Older Carers
We run an Outreach Group for older carers that meet monthly. These groups are held at a variety of venues within the local community as suggested and agreed by those attending the group.
We also organise small outings and activities for the group where transport is provided.

Planning for the Future
Through consultation with carers around the issues they face as they get older we are going to continue developing workshops in the Autumn that cover subjects such as: 'When I am not there', 'Wills and Trusts', 'succession of tenancies', 'housing options for people with learning disabilities', 'how to let go' and 'inter-dependency between carer and cared for'.
